Purchase conditions

These General Conditions of Contract regulate the use and contracting of products and services of the web site tienda.arteymemoria.com, of which ARTE Y MEMORIA S.L. is the owner, the rights and obligations of the owner and the users and the relationships between them. When making any transaction the customer accepts these conditions.

Please read these conditions carefully before placing your order as you are bound by them.

The present conditions will have an indefinite period of validity and will be applicable to all the contracting realized through the website tienda.arteymemoria.com. The provider reserves the right to unilaterally modify these conditions.


The customer acknowledges knowing the particular conditions of sale (characteristics, price, quantity, measures, quality of the product or products contracted) at the time of placing the order and expressly declare to accept them without reservation. The fact of placing an order in Arte&Memoria implies the acceptance of the prices, the description of the articles and the general conditions of sale.

The user can add and remove products from the basket during the purchase process. The order is formalized when the user accepts the order and clicks the buy button on the checkout page, upon acceptance of the legal terms and the general conditions of sale.

Once the order is placed, Arte&Memoria will send the confirmation by email within 24 hours detailing the products purchased, their characteristics, prices, and total amount. If for any reason an order can not be confirmed, you will be informed as soon as possible. The confirmation of the order is a proof of purchase, the invoice will be sent by email.

Products are only available in Spain and are subject to availability. If there is no stock, if a product is not available or could not be manufactured we will indicate it at the time of placing the order or by email. In this case, Arte&Memoria will offer you the possibility of ordering alternative products or refunding the amount paid.


The delivery of the orders will be made at the delivery address specified by the user at the time of placing the order. Orders will not be delivered in PO Boxes. Arte&Memoria assumes no responsibility in the event that the information provided by the user was inaccurate or incomplete or the delivery could not be performed for reasons other than the delivery company, assigned for that purpose, such as the absence of the recipient.

Arte&Memoria shipments are made by the Envialia logistics operator. The delivery time varies according to the type of product, the destination, the type of shipment selected and the time of receipt of the order.

Arte&Memoria offers an only type of shipping mode: normal. In this mode of delivery the orders are sent with a delivery service of 3 to 5 working days. To this period it must be added the time of preparation of the order. These deadlines are an estimate and may vary for logistical reasons or force majeure. If for some reason the estimated date can not be met, our customer service will inform you as soon as possible. Delays in delivery will not imply cancellation of the order or right to compensation.

The usual Arte&Memoria shedule for processing orders is from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Orders placed after 12.00 in the morning will be processed from the following day.     
During festivities, summer holidays, etc. orders will not be processed. All orders received during these days will be processed on the next Arte&Memoria working day.


Arte&Memoria will apply a charge for preparation and delivery expenses of € 12.00 plus VAT for orders to mainland Spain. For orders to Balearic Islands, the cost is € 15.00 plus VAT. If a special transport is required, the customer must bear the cost of the delivery.

Costs derived from shipments of purchased items will be reflected at the final time of purchase.

For shipments to Canary Islands, Ceuta or Melilla, the user must contact Arte&Memoria customer service by mail to
 comercial@arteymemoria.com or by telephone at 938 125 378 to receive a quote.   

Arte&Memoria online store service does not ship to addresses outside of Spain. For orders to international destinations, please contact customer service.

The customer agrees to sign the receipt sheet submitted by the carrier at the time of delivery, acknowledging receiving the number of packages indicated. If the customer detects damaged products or damages during transport (open package, bumps, breakage of packaging, etc.), he/she must reject the package, indicate it on the receipt sheet and communicate it as soon as possible to Arte&Memoria by mail to comercial@arteymemoria.com or by telephone at 938 125 378.


The prices of the articles and services are indicated in euros (EUR) and include VAT. They do not include other applicable taxes. The taxes applied will be those in force on the date of acceptance of the offer and will be added to the total amount of the order. If there is an error in published prices, Arte&Memoria is not obliged to maintain the offer and reserves the right to cancel the order.

The decoration material used in the photographs is not included in the price.

Arte&Memoria reserves the right to modify the sale price of the articles at any time.


Arte&Memoria guarantees the quality of the products during the legally established period from the date of delivery. In the event that a product is defective, Arte&Memoria will repair or replace the product or proceed to the termination of the contract if the claim is made within the legal term. However, the warranty will not be valid if deficiencies or failures occur due to manipulation or misuse or negligence, lack of maintenance or care, or the wear and tear caused by normal use of the product. If the customer considers that the product does not conform to the characteristics or presents defects, he/she must send an email to comercial@arteymemoria.com indicating his/her data, invoice number and anomaly or damage detected. Arte&Memoria can request photos of the defects. The products will be considered according to the contractual characteristics if they conform to the detailed description by Arte&Memoria and to the specific quality, being suitable for the use to which this type of products is destined. The user will have a period of 10 working days from the date of receipt of the product for returning it. Unless the return is made for defects in the product, the expenses related to the shipping will be assumed by the user. The return of the product will only be accepted if it is in perfect condition, in its original packaging, with all its accessories and documents and without having been used. To process the return, the costumer must send an email to comercial@arteymemoria.com and, once accepted, send the product with its original packaging, accessories and a copy of the delivery note or receipt sheet. When receiving the merchandise, Arte&Memoria will check its status and, if it is correct, we will contact the customer to send another product or pay the amount of the product returned in the same payment method used in the order. The return costs are borne by the customer, except Arte&Memoria error. The refund of the amount paid will be made after 48 hours of confirmation of the return, although receipt of the amount can be delayed due to banking procedures.
